MUSIC MONDAY!
So I know I haven’t exactly done my part as far as updating as often as I said I would..but with fall semester nearing and looking for a job, I haven’t exactly had the time..HOWEVER, today is Monday and as a ‘twitter-freak’ I had to post an entry about some new music that I, myself, have been bumping and I’m recommending.

If you haven’t heard, Swag&B is the ISH! Yes, I said, it’s the ISH. Sammie definitely put in work and made some classics this time around [even though he does all the time =) ]. He doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves, but this time we’ll make sure he does. With the Star Camp & Street Love team, and his assistant Ryan, a.k.a Boogie [who happens to be the most dedicated and hard-working young man around these days], things are only destined to get better for him. With originals like ‘Love Rapture’, ‘Come Home’, and ‘Twitter Freak’ and a few covers [which he did his thing on] such as ‘Wetter’, ‘Every Girl’, and “Swag Surf’, you get a taste of the musical genius better known as Sammie. I can only say it so many times, download it, download it, download it! I promise you, you won’t regret it.

There are no words to describe the way this man can make a woman feel with words alone. If you haven’t heard, then let me be the first to let you know that Trey Songz is what the game has been missing for sooo long. He’s been around for a minute now, but people haven’t given him the recognition that he’s deserved. I can only assume that it was a struggle for him at first after listening to ‘Misunderstood’. His mixtapes bring you closer to the person that he is, his albums has club-bangers and baby-makers, and his latest mixtape, Anticipation has only shown us the growth that comes with the years spent in the game. I mean, words fail me when I make an attempt as describing his talent, so do yourself one better and download the mixtape, Anticipation, and pre-order the album, Ready, in stores and online September 1st!!!

Loso’s Way by Fabolous

‘Feels Like I’m Back’ elaborates his feelings of being ‘back’ in the game..Fabolous outshined some of his older work with this album. His maturity shows through his lyrics and his flow is ridiculous. This is real music, it was fresh to hear this album opposed to the ‘bubbly dance tracks’ done by these ‘rappers’ these days [call it what you want, but HEY, rappers these days aren’t rappers anymore]..I recommend it, he has features with Marsha Ambrosius, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, Jeremih, & Ne-Yo to name a few. Make sure you go and get yourself a copy of Loso’s Way.
